Upstate New York House, Hartwick NY  A series of parallel masonry walls and piers running east to west, with glass and wood infill between, accentuate the views toward rolling hills and sunsets while at the same time minimize the effect of north winter winds. Locally available materials – concrete masonry block and laminated wood beams, comprise the major structural elements.
